Dr. Gary Lett is a chiropractic physician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of spinal and other neuromusculoskeletal disorders. He has served the Hattiesburg area for over 26 years. He serves as the team chiropractor for the University of Southern Mississippi.
Dr. Lett was raised in a chiropractic lifestyle and knows the benefits it provides. His father, Dr. M. G. Lett, was a practicing chiropractor for over 56 years. Two uncles, Dr. Daniel Clark and Dr. James Lett were also chiropractors. All three have been inducted into the Alabama Chiropractic Hall of Fame.
A native of Glencoe, Alabama, Dr. Lett attended undergraduate school at Jacksonville State University. He earned his doctorate at Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia. At least yearly, he attends continuing education courses to stay up to date with the latest development in chiropractic healthcare. The classes have included, Sports Injury and Physical Fitness, Chiropractic Therapeutic Modalities, and Rehabilitation.
For two years after graduation he practiced with his father, Dr. M. G. Lett, in Glencoe, Alabama. In 1988 he established a practice in Hattiesburg.
Dr. Lett participated in organized sports from childhood throughout his collegiate carrer, including golf and football. Since moving to Hattiesburg he has been involved in various local civic and organizations and sports programs.
He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Mississippi Chiropractic Association (Vice-President), and has published numerous chiropractic, health and golf-related articles.
As an experienced Chiropractor, Dr. Lett is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of his patients. He uses a "whole person approach".
