What to Expect on your First Visit
What to Bring With You We ask that you bring any pertinent information regarding your condition, such as recent X-rays or MRI reports. Remember to bring your insurance card, also. Intake Forms Upon entering our office, we require completion of some health history and patient information forms. Theses forms provide information to help the doctor determine the nature and extent of your health problem. Complimentary Consultation Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a complimentary consultation with Dr. Lett. He will spend as much time as necessary with you to address your health related concerns. Examination and X-Ray Our examination is designed to determine the cause of your symptoms. This may include spinal analysis, physical, orthopedic and neurological tests. X-Rays will only be taken if the doctor deems them necessary. Your case history and examination findings will help us determine your diagnosis and the most effective treatment plan for you. Same Day Treatment Once finished with the examination and all appropriate studies, patients will generally be provided with treatment during this first visit. Scheduling Your Next Appointment You will be given an appointment time for your follow-up visit with Dr. Lett. At this time the doctor will review his findings and recommend treatment options. It is our goal that you have a clear understanding of what is wrong and how as a team we will be able to obtain optimal results. Treatment Recommendations Dr. Lett is well versed in diagnosis and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, many of which have failed to respond to typical medical treatment. Because each patient is different, he believes in an individualized program of care and treatment to help you achieve the very best results. Recommended care may include therapeutic modalities, exercise and rehabilitation, along with spinal manipulation.
